The Many Uses of Lavender
Lavender is ranked #1 on my list of favorite herbs! Through years of researching the uses and benefits it has become a staple herb and essential oil in my home.
When I started making skin care products for my family I knew I wanted lavender in everything that touched our skin. Here is a Lavender 101:
Lavender (genus Lavandula) has its origin in countries bordering the Mediterranean, Middle East & India. Today it is grown and cultivated across its countries of origin as well as Australia, New Zealand, Europe, North and South America. It is a plant in the mint family and for centuries has been known for its sweet floral fragrance, beauty and medicinal properties. Lavender is an extremely versatile plant offering a variety of benefits.
Lavender herb has been used for tinctures, teas, cooking, natural remedies and skin care products and more.
